Veteran indie-rockers, Yo La Tengo returned to the scene earlier this month with their stellar new disc, Popular Songs via Matador Records. The trio recently hooked up with the talented, Vincent Moon (The National documentary, ' A Skin, A Night') and his now famous, and often copied, 'Take Away Shows.' Moon filmed the pair in two parts while at a stop in Paris in the neighborhood of Montmartre. Pt1 features the songs, "With a Girl Like You" (Troggs cover)/"Our Way to Fall,"' while Pt 2 has the band playing, "'Sugarcube"/ "Periodically Double or Triple."Yo La tengo - A Take Away Show - Part 1 from La Blogotheque on Vimeo.
