The Austin Tx. indie rock quintet What Made Milwaukee Famous, have made their EP, Sugarhill Sessions available as a free download via two sites, eMusic and barsuk.com. The free download will be available only until November 17th. The SugarHill Sessions are taken from tracks that the band performed in Texas' SugarHill studios, which has played host to the likes of Lightnin' Hopkins, Johnny Bush, and Willie Nelson. All the songs from the session were recorded in one take with no overdubbing. Earlier in the year, the band released their sophomore Barsuk release, What Doesn't Kill Us, and they can currently be seen out on tour across the Western US w/ The Little One's.
