Seemingly one of the hardest working bands in the business, The National have been at it nearly non stop since the release of 2007's Boxer. The band has toured the world over, and they just capped things off with a brilliant charity concert for the Red Hot organization benefitting Aids research at Radio City Music Hall in NYC this past Sunday. The event which was the companion to the charity album Dark Was The Nigh featured special guests ranging from David Byrne and Dirty Projectors, to Bon Iver and Feist. Also this past week the guys stopped by the new late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon show to perform the track "So Far Around The Bend" which was their contribution to the Dark Was The Night' LP.
