Hayden: Announces new album plans

While there have undoubtedly been a lot of great acts that have broken onto the scene hailing from Canada the last several years, one of the under looked performers is Ontario singer/songwriter, Hayden. With a 15 year career in the business and tours over the past year supporting acts like, The National and Feist, Hayden is ready with the follow-up to his 2008 critically acclaimed LP, In Field and Town. His newest and 6th album overall, The Place Where We Lived will be coming out May 26th in Canada, with a release in the U.S., Europe, and the rest of the world tentatively scheduled for sometime in June.
Hayden, who usually plays most of the instruments, and self produces his albums himself, enlisted the help of Howie Beck to produce 'The Place Where We Lived'.
You can hear three new tracks from the new album streaming over on his myspace now.
