I just caught wind of possibly the best news I've heard all Summer. One of my personal favorites, the Toronto band, The Wooden Sky have a new album hitting stores this Summer titled, If I Don't Come Home You'll Know I'm Gone. The album is out this August 25th, and if your not familiar with the band now is your chance to get more acquainted with their music. With the plethora of great Americana based music coming out of Canada these days it's easy for some bands to slip under the radar, but were predicting that these guys will be getting some well deserved hype with this release. You might want to go back and check out their 2007 disc, When Lost at Sea also, which was one of the finest albums of '07.
Two new songs off the forthcoming disc, "Something Hiding For Us In The Night", and "Bit Part", are currently streaming over on their myspace page now.
