After nearly three and half years, Chris Crisci's second effort under his solo moniker, Old Canes is seeing the light of day. Crisci, a member of melancholy post-rockers, The Appleseed Cast, took the solo title quite literally, basically creating the new LP, Feral Harmonic alone in his basement studio, and tackling the majority of the instrumentation himself. The album which is his first for indie label, Saddle Creek records, shows a different side for Crisci, showcasing an energetic, joyous folk mixture, led by the upbeat foot stomper, ‘Little Bird Courage’ which you can check out below.The album hits stores this October 20th.
