Lissie: debut EP out next month

Young folk singer, Lissie will release her debut EP, Why You Runnin', this November 10th on Fat Possum Records. She had help on the new five-song EP from friends like Tyler Ramsey and Bill Reynolds (Band of Horses) the latter of which produced and played bass on the record, and Ed Harcourt who worked on the track "Oh Mississippi." The songs were recorded at her home in Ojai, CA, and at Echo Mountain Studio in Asheville, NC, and range from hand-clapping, foot-stomping numbers like, "Little Lovin" to country and soulful '60s pop-esque ballads, centered around her powerful and raw vocals.

Lissie will be hitting the road soon opening up for Ray LaMontagne, with a few solo dates scheduled in NYC and Los Angeles.
