The Cave Singers: New tunes coming soon

The Northwest is brimming with great folk music, and Seattle's, The Cave Singers are no exception. The indie-folk outfit will be unveiling their sophomore release, Welcome Joy this summer, Aug. 18th on Matador Records. The new disc which is supposed to see the band expanding their sound, was recorded at The Hive in Vancouver with Colin Stewart, and features appearances by Amber Webber (Black Mountain, Lightning Dust) and Ashley Webber (Lightning Dust). The disc follows up their 07 debut 'Initiation Songs.'
According to Matador the Cave Singers should be hitting the road this September and October.
