One of our favorite albums of this still early New Year belongs to Sweden's Loney Dear, who came out with his disc, Dear John this past January. The new Emil Svanangen led project is a moody but richly textured album which sees Emil making big leaps musically from his first disc, Loney, Noir. Svanangen & Loney Dear will be taking his act to the road this Spring with a round of new dates scattered across the US, kicking things off at SXSW later in the month, and than onto cities such as Brooklyn, Philly, Chicago, Seattle, Portland and LA to name just a few (see the dates below).
