A few weeks back we talked about the Toronto folk-rock band, Great Bloomers, who will soon be releasing their debut full length album, Speak of Trouble. At the time there was no official date set for the release, but now we can tell you that the disc will be hitting the streets this April 21st. The band worked together with another BTB favorite, Gavin Gardner of The Wooden Sky , who co-produced the disc with the guys. The 5 piece have said they that worked hard on the new disc to successfully revive the concept of 'the album', carefully crafting each song. You can hear for yourself, as the band are currently streaming two of 'Speak of Trouble's' new tracks, "Honey Blanket" & "The Young One's Slept" over at their myspace. Great Bloomers on myspace.
