The psychedlic, dreamy, space-rock outfit, Speck Mountain fronted by co-leaders Karl Briedrick and Marie-Claire Balabanian, have a new album on the way,Some Sweet Relief, which comes out this March 17th. The band who describe their sound as “ambient soul”, are said to also enjoy keeping it old school in the recording process, using vintage effects and recording techniques, while on the new disc mixing in lot's of piano, organ, and sax to round things out.
