The Toronto and Montreal region has brought us plenty of indie rock/pop goodness over the last several years. From Broken Social Scene and Stars to Arcade Fire and Feist. Our newest discovery that we stumbled across is, Actual Water. The group aren't what you would traditionally think of when you think of our neighbors to the North. The band has a disctinct retro/garage rock sound, something along the lines of Crystal Stilts came to mind upon first giving them a listen.
