Break-up albums can create some epic work, and London indie-folksters, Noah and the Whale are going all out for their upcoming sophomore release, The First Days of Spring. Along with the new CD, the work will be accompanied by a film that runs the entire length of the album. The disc and film, as the title suggests centers around a running narrative of a post-break up, and starting over again theme, with the thought being it's about frontman Charlie Finks former relationship with singer Laura Marling. The new CD and film comes out Aug 31 in the UK and Oct. 6 in the U.S, and you can download for free the lead track, "The First Days of Spring" by clicking here.
