In a span of just two short years, The Airborne Toxic Event has gone from forming the group in mid 2006 and playing their first live show a few months later, to recently being named in the L.A. Times as one of the top 3 bands to watch in 2008. The quick rise from obscurity has seen the group get signed and recently put out their self titles debut disc, featuring their single "Sometime Around Midnight".
