unreleased Clash material coming out
On October 6th you'll be able to get your hands on some rare material from the legendary punk band, The Clash. In the works is a live album which was recorded back when the band supported The Who at their renowned Shea Stadium gig in 1982. Reportedly the disc will feature the Clash's 15 track set in it's entirety. In addition to the live CD there will be a DVD, 'The Clash Live-Revolution Rock' directed by Don Letts also coming out on the same date. It will include over 20 rare performances spanning the group's brief career with seven unreleased performances by the group, included in which is their appearance on 'The Tomorrow Show With Tom Snyder' from 1981.
In other Clash news, there will be an authorised book 'The Clash By The Clash' hitting stores that same week on October 3rd, which has been compiled from extensive interviews with Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon.
