Here on the blog we love all things Pela. It was sad to see the band split, but this year has seen some great new music rise up from three of the bands former members. Billy and Eric went on to form We Are Augustines, who put out a brilliant record, Rise Ye Sunken Ships, and former guitarist Nate Martinez started his new band, Thieving Irons. Martinez formed the group in 2010, and later that year released an album, This Midnight Hum.
Thieving Irons is now readying a new album for 2012, and a few weeks back they put out a new single called "So Long." They just released a new video for the track directed by Micah Van Hove, which you can watch below or grab yourself a free download of after the jump.
