The New Year have just released their first record in four years, with their new self titled LP. The album features the track "X Off Days" which is available as a free download on their myspace. You can also give it a listen below. The band which was formed by Matt and Bubba Kadane, who were the founding members of Bedhead, have released two previous LP's 2001's Newness Ends and The End is Near in 2004. The group kicked off their tour in Philly last night, which will see the group continuing across the northeast before heading over to Europe. The New Year upcoming tour dates:
