UK indie rock group The Long Blondes have just announced an amicable split due to an illness in the band. Guitarist Dorian Cox suffered a stroke earlier in the year which had forced the band to cancel previous tour dates. Although recovering, Cox says he is unsure if or when he will be able to play guitar again due to his illness. Some of the bands previous albums include 2006's Someone to Drive You Home, Couples released in June, and Singles which actually came out just the other day. The Long Blondes on myspace.
