Not only did these guys release one of the most passionate and intense albums you'll hear this year, but the band is another in the ever growing long line of amazing bands hailing from Toronto, Canada. The Rural Alberta Advantage, will be releasing their first official single, "Drain the Blood" off their Hometowns LP this coming Jan 12. Although it comes months after the albums release on Saddle Creek records, the new single will be available as a 7" vinyl and digital formats, and it includes the bands newly recorded B-side cover of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger". In addition to the single the group also just unveiled a new video for the track, directed by Ante Kovac (which you can view below). And in other RAA news, the band just launched a new run of tour dates hitting the Midwest and the West Coast in Dec., and running into Jan. and Feb. in the Northeast, Midwest and all over Canada.
