I know 2009 hasn't even come to a close yet, but I can't help but look ahead to 2010, as some of my favorites have new albums in the works for the new year. With expected new releases from The National, and Frightened Rabbit,I already would have been a happy camper, but now comes news that a new much anticipated album from Arcade Fire should be due out in May, according to Billboard magazine. Sources at Billboard claim that the band has plans to release a single early on in 2010, and then they will come out with their still as of yet untitled album in May. The band is said to have spent six months in the studio working with producer and Neon Bible engineer Markus Dravs. You can read the full Billboard article here.
