Dark Was The Night compilation goes Live


The 'Dark Was The Night' charity compilation benefiting the AIDS charity Red Hot, is coming to life this May the 3rd at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. The compilation featured exclusive tracks from a who's who of indie musics heavy hitters such as Bon Iver, Yeasayer, Grizzly Bear, The National, Arcade Fire and Feist to just name a few. No telling who will be making guest appearances, but here's who is confirmed for the show so far ... The National, Dirty Projectors, Dave Sitek, Feist, My Brightest Diamond, and Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings.
This week also sees the release of several videos shot by director Vincent Moon by three of Dark Was The Night's contributors, The National, Dirty Projectors and Yeasayer, performing their songs. The first clip of which is "So far Around The Bend" from The National. The clips will come out one a day starting today, March 10th and will be premiering over at Pitchfork (www.pitchfork.com) and Pitchfork.TV (www.pitchfork.tv).
