The Head and the Heart -"Another Story"

It's hard to believe that it's been almost 4 years since The Head and the Heart released their debut LP. The Seattle band is now readying their sophomore effort, Let's Be Still which hits stores Oct. 15 via Sub Pop. They just debuted a fresh track off the upcoming disc called "Another Story." New Video: The Head & The Heart- "Down in the Valley"

It seems like this Seattle band has been going at it non-stop since their self titled debut came out in 2010. The band has been on the road virtually ever since, and with word of mouth spreading from their intense live shows the group has finally been getting some well deserved recognition. They just released a new video for one of my favorites off the LP, "Down in the Valley" that chronicles some of the bands travels over the past year or so. The video was directed by E. Ryan McMackin.

The Head & The Heart: new song '"While You Were Gone"

I saw these guys live back in 2010 without knowing very much about the band and only being familiar with a song or two. I walked away from that show blown away and instantly hooked. 2011 was a big year for the group, they signed on with Sub Pop and saw their albums re-release, and steady word of mouth from their live sets saw them finally start to blow up.  It was nice to see the band getting some well deserved recognition, and I look forward to even bigger things from them in the New Year, with hopefully a new album in the works. Speaking of new material, they just posted this new track titled, "While You Were Gone" on their facebook page from a video shot in Seattle with The Ballard Sessions.
